Management planning and other important matters are discussed by the steering committee which consists of 16 members. The staff members of the Center including the Director, graduate students (Department of Molecular Chemistry, Graduate School of Engineering) and undergraduate students (Applied Chemistry Division, School of Engineering) are engaged in the research and/or education. Heavy-metal-containing wastewater from the university is treated at our attached Inorganic Wastewater Treatment Facility. The wastewater is separately collected according to specific categories, and the heavy metals are properly removed by the ferrite method. After treatment, if the solution meets the standards for the sewage system, it is discharged.
